Description

The Guild Surfliner Deluxe is a solid-body electric guitar that pays homage to the brand’s vintage styling while incorporating modern features. The guitar features a solid body platform that combines subtle offset styling with the classic lines of 1960s and 1970s Guilds. It has a 25.5″ scale length and a bolt-on neck, which is a departure from Guild’s usual set-neck construction. Premium features such as the Guild Floating Vibrato Tailpiece are featured on the deluxe model.

• HB-2 Humbucker with Alnico II magnets was specifically developed to recreate the rich, warm tone of vintage Guild humbuckers in a standard size format
• Voicings are controlled by the Guild Rocker Pickup Switching System, which features an on/off switch for each pickup, allowing for a total of seven pickup combinations and providing a range of tonal options and flexibility for players
• Guild Floating Vibrato Tailpiece (GFVT) is a new addition to the Surfliner platform that opens up new playing styles and is capable of producing a broad range of vibrato effects, from subtle flutters to deep swells
• Subtle offset styling, as well as Guild logo on the headstock resurrected from the 1980s adds to the guitar’s vintage charm
